Read Our Story

“Can you write a social story for her for this upcoming outing?” - I was innocently asked by the parent of a former client struggling with anxiety. Of course I said yes, I love to write! Although I had heard all about social stories, I had never written a custom one before. Turns out, they’re where the real magic begins. That client read through the story one time, in the midst of panic, and then the most beautiful moment happened. She took a deep breath and said “Okay I can do it” to herself, and she did. The story lit the way forward for her.

And that’s when this passion project sparked into Little Lantern Stories -a resource for families of kiddos who need a little extra help navigating the world around them! Little Lanterns is that small but bright light offering quiet, unpressured, and regulating guidance in times where your child needs it most.
